Refund Policy

Scope

This policy applies to purchases of Cathoven Speaking Pro subscriptions made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or directly through our web app. It supplements — and does not replace — the refund rules of the store through which you purchased.

Consumer right to cancel

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that grants a statutory cancellation right, you have 14 days from the date of your initial purchase to cancel your subscription and receive a full refund — no reason required.

To exercise this right, contact us before the 14-day period expires via our support portal or by emailing [email protected].

Effect of cancellation

If you cancel within the 14-day window, we will refund all payments received from you within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request, using the same payment method as the original transaction.

Exception for immediate digital content

By starting a subscription and accessing Pro features immediately, you expressly request that we begin delivering the service before the end of the 14-day cancellation period. You acknowledge that this does not waive your right to cancel — but if you have already used Pro features, we may deduct a proportional amount for the service already delivered.

Refunds outside the 14-day window

After the 14-day cancellation period, refunds are not guaranteed but are reviewed case by case. We consider requests where:

  • A technical issue on our end prevented you from accessing the service.
  • You were charged after cancelling in good time.
  • Other exceptional circumstances apply.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period. Unused time remaining after cancellation is not refunded — cancel before your next renewal date to avoid the next charge.

Subscriptions

Subscription billing is managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). Renewal charges, cancellation steps, and any platform-level refunds are governed by their respective policies. We recommend cancelling at least 24 hours before your renewal date to ensure the cancellation is processed in time.

  • Your order number or purchase receipt.
  • The email address associated with your account.
  • A brief description of your request.
